A design project that allows to analyze the environmental and cultural footprints of modern Japan and to reflect on the future of the archaeological remains of the 20th century. Hashima is a study on the ruins of modernity, how they can be discovered, analyzed, archived, exhibited and how visitors can learn about the history of Hashima before taking pictures as the ruins are an ancillary result of the human ego.
